Coin$ for Book$

The two for one BOOK FAIR is coming in April and to benefit each classroom we are once again promoting the "Coin$ for Book$"program. During the week of March 23rd each teacher will have a change jug in her class for collection through out the week. The money raised in each class will be used to purchase books for that particular classroom. As added incentive the class that raises the most money will also receive a pizza party.
Each day is set aside for specific coins which makes the counting and rolling of the donation go much easier. The designations are as follows...
Monday--Pennies
Tuesday-- Nickles
Wednesday-- Dimes
Thursday--Quarters
Friday--Anything goes (coins, dollars, or checks)
Last years winning class was Mrs. Slaughter's 2nd grade that raised $297 which was doubled allowing her to spend $594 on books for her room. In all students donated $1430.90 which was doubled and used purchase books for elementary classrooms.
As the money comes in each day, volunteers will be needed to count and roll the coins. If you would be interested in helping out please fill out and return the volunteer form when it comes home later this week.
